On your way you cross the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. Stop in Napa Valley for a wine tasting and then continue to Shasta Lake, a nice forest and lake landscape area.

Visit Lassen Volcanic National Park with its clear mountain lakes and the largest plug dome volcano. Experience the boiling mud pots, stinking fumaroles and the churning hot springs.

Crater Lake National Park ist the fifth oldest National Park in the United States. The park encompasses the caldera of Crater Lake, a remnant of a destroyed volcano, Mount Mazama and the surrounding hills. The Lake is 600 meters deep.

Visit the big sand dunes at the beach of Coos Bay. Drive along the scenic Pacific Coast, pass lighthouses when driving up north.

Today first visit to the active volcano Mount St. Helens. The last eruption was in 1980. Afterwards drive to the Mount Rainier National Park and to see snow-covered Mount Rainier with it's glaciers.

Olympic National Park has four basis regions: the Pacific Coastline, alpine areas, the west side temperate rainforest and the forest of the drier east side. Ozette loop is a popluar 14 kilometer loop at the coastal strip.

The last National Park on this trip. North Cascades National Park. Wilderness areas, rugged mountain peaks.

Drive to Seattle at the Puget Sound. Visit some of the hightlights, such as Space Needle, Pike Place Market, Museum of Flight.
